Brad Coleman is a Partner in the Corporate & Commercial team at Rose Walters LLP, based in the firm's London office. Brad advises boards, founders, and investors on high-value transactions, with a particular focus on mid-market mergers and acquisitions, private equity investment, and corporate restructuring.
Clients value Brad for his commercially minded approach and his ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, actionable guidance. He is known for staying closely involved from initial term sheet through to completion, and for building long-term relationships that extend well beyond a single transaction.
Brad regularly acts for clients across the technology, professional services, and manufacturing sectors, and has particular experience supporting founder-led businesses through growth capital raises and eventual exit.
Brad joined Rose Walters LLP in 2015 as a Senior Associate and was made up to Partner in 2021. Before joining the firm, he trained and qualified at a leading City firm, where he cut his teeth on cross-border M&A and equity capital markets work.
Over the past decade, Brad has advised on transactions with an aggregate value in excess of £900 million, ranging from bolt-on acquisitions for private equity portfolio companies to complex multi-jurisdictional carve-outs. He has a strong track record advising founders and management teams navigating institutional investment for the first time, helping them balance growth ambitions with long-term control considerations.
Brad is a firm believer that great legal advice is as much about listening as it is about drafting. He works closely with clients' finance and operations teams to make sure legal structuring decisions support the practical realities of running a business, not just the deal on paper.
Outside the transaction room, Brad is a member of the firm's Corporate Training Committee and mentors trainees through Rose Walters' rotation scheme. He is a regular contributor to industry roundtables on private equity trends in the UK mid-market.
